The course is online now. Learn to paint the beautiful faces of the children you love by painting a portrait with me in a very structured context. Then you can apply what you learned to your own subjects...I'll help you get started.
Beginner at painting? No problem. You'll learn a step-by-step process to take you from blank piece of paper to finished painting (at least one) during the course; and advanced watercolorists enjoy learning and practicing the wet-in-wet and glazing techniques I use. The course includes practices and applications of color mixing, stretching watercolor paper, wet-in-wet techniques, color dragging, glazing, transferring your photo or drawing to watercolor paper, and much, much more. There is also a private chat room available for live chats to answer your questions and help solve your problems. The only thing that you'll need in addition to the painting materials is access to a scanner or digital camera so you can email me images of your work as you progress. I will be doing ongoing critiques as you need them.
You can register for the course by paying through PayPal, or by sending me a money order or cashiers check for the registration amount to the mailing address below. You can also register by phone using your Visa or Mastercard. I'll email you a list of the materials you'll need to have in order to do the work, and a list of suppliers where you can purchase any of the materials you don't already have. I will then send you the reference photos, color matching samples, line drawings, and exercise materials you'll need for the class by regular mail and you'll be ready to start.
