Great Gifts for Any Occasion

This is my newest venture. I've licensed my artwork to a company which produces trivets, mugs, t-shirts, etc., and I now am selling the trivets and mugs in my gallery, signed by me, as well as online. They make great gifts being both decorative and useful. A fun way for me to branch out in terms of my products. I also have my recovery paintings reproduced as trivets and mugs. The mugs that go with the veggie and fruit paintings are 11 oz coffee mugs, the mugs with the recovery images are 15 oz mugs. But I can have mugs made in either size with whatever you want printed on the back if it's a special occasion. Just call me at 360-683-5387 or 360-460-4728 (verizon) to let me know what you want.

A Sample of Some of My Paintings

"Monty and Larry"

This painting which was a commission as a gift for the man, Larry, in the picture. I used 3 different reference photos which I combined using the image program on my computer to make a single photo. Monty's (the horse) head I placed on a different shot of his body, and Larry's expression in his eyes I took from one picture and put it on his face in this picture. Then, of course, using artistic license, I lightened and darkened to create the values I wanted rather than simply copy the photo. I really enjoy using computer technology to create my compositions.

"Daisy Basket"

This was what the advanced workshop students painted during the August workshop. As complicated as this painting is, and with as much detail as it has, it's no wonder that no one finished it during class. If I ever use this painting as a workshop project again, it will have to be a 5 day workshop so everyone can finish it. We had a great time anyway, and we all learned a lot.

"Market Basket"

I completed this painting in April, 2005, and the image was licensed for use as the fundraiser poster for the

Sequim Open Aire Market for 2005 and 2006. It is now available as a giclee' style reproduction, and available as trivets and mugs.

"Portrait of Nancy"

This is a painting of a dear friend who was kind enough to pose for me. It was entered in the member's show of Women Painters of Washington held in Bellevue, Washington, where it won the "Lillian Rehbock Award", and was accepted into the 2006 Northwest Watercolor Society's annual exhibition in Seattle, and the 2007 West Coast Paper Exhibition in Seattle.
